Burrell Education - a case study

Burrell Education had a quickly expanding business with the number of courses outgrowing their current platform. They were also starting to offer CPD training ( Continuing Professional Development ) points and certification for their courses, so wanted a solution to be able track a student’s progress, incorporate exams, restrict pages until case studies were manually marked and then automatically deliver a certificate to graduates.

Burrell Education now have a much more seamless student experience and a fully automated system from purchase to delivery to graduation of courses.

Burrell Education was already using Keap as their CRM so we rebuilt their course platform using a stack of Memberium and Learndash. Memberium’s functionality allowed all full integration with Keap to include membership levels, restricted / dynamic content and page permission linked to keap tagging and revoking access if payment plans defaulted; while Learndash handled the linear study flows, multiple choice exams, the ability to manually mark individual case studies and immediate certificate delivery. We also implemented gamification badges on student profiles for courses they had completed.

Once the new set up was in place, we transferred all existing courses across from Customerhub to the new platform, and thoroughly tested before going live.
